How It Works
1
Set Your Courts
Order courts from Court 1 (King Court) to Court N (Challenger Court).
2
Play Timed Rounds
Rounds typically run 10 to 15 minutes or first team to 11 points.
3
Auto-Promote & Split
Enter scores and watch Good Game Buddy automatically shift winners up and losers down.
Court Transition Matrix
How players move across 3 courts after every completed round.
| Court Tier | Winners Action | Losers Action |
|---|---|---|
| 👑 Court 1 (King Court) | STAY on Court 1 & Split Partners | Move DOWN to Court 2 & Split Partners |
| 🎾 Court 2 (Middle Court) | Move UP to Court 1 & Split Partners | Move DOWN to Court 3 & Split Partners |
| 🛡️ Court 3 (Challenger Court) | Move UP to Court 2 & Split Partners | STAY on Court 3 (or enter Bye Queue if extra players) |
⏱️
Handling Extra Players (10 on 2 Courts / 14 on 3 Courts)
Manual clipboards often cause arguments over who sits next. Good Game Buddy manages an automated FIFO queue at the Challenger Court:
- 1.Challenger Court losers rotate into the rest bench.
- 2.The two waiting players enter the Challenger Court.
- 3.Every player gets equal court minutes and rest periods.

King of the Beach (KOB) Volleyball Rules
In beach volleyball, 4 players form a pool on a single sand court. Over 3 rounds, each player pairs with every other player for 1 game to 21 points:
Game 1: Player 1 & 2 vs Player 3 & 4
Game 2: Player 1 & 3 vs Player 2 & 4
Game 3: Player 1 & 4 vs Player 2 & 3
The player with the highest total points or match win differential is crowned King/Queen of the Beach!
